3D printing news Arkema and its additive manufacturing material series
During Formnext 2021, we met with a team from Arkema, one of the leading chemists on the market. The French company develops material solutions for additive manufacturing, covering multiple technologies: resin, powder and extrusion. This year, it launched a new visual image, including a new logo and slogan, "Innovative Materials for a Sustainable World", which clearly demonstrated its values and aspirations for sustainable development.
Hélène Egret, European market manager for liquid resins, and Adrien Lapeyre, market manager for high-performance polymers, showed us the current range of materials and explained the importance of establishing a network of partners in the market in the video below. By cooperating with machine manufacturers, printing service providers, and software publishers, it is easier to master the additive manufacturing ecosystem and provide end users with solutions that meet their needs. The Arkema team also emphasized the importance of sustainability in 3D printing, and now it is necessary to integrate these issues.
