LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA —It's that time of year to wear your heart on your sleeve! Valentine's Day 2020 falls on Friday, Feb. 14, and area chefs and restaurants are pulling out all the stops with prix-fixe menus, specialty cocktails and desserts.

Patch has rounded up some of Los Angeles County's stand-out dining offerings, from upscale to the relaxed, plus more unique treats such as doughnuts topped with real rose petals and gold flakes, heart-shaped pizzas and Olive Garden's "Breadstick Bouquet." Among the mix, a few Galentine events and anti-Valentine fests for the non-Cupid types.

The chef-curated, waffle-and-ice-cream dessert starts with a choice of a light and crispy bubble waffle or OG Liefe waffle and is then loaded with a massive scoop of ice cream and topped with heart candies and a generous drizzle of chocolate sauce ($11).
